hello!

Faith and family, done in style. I hope you leave here more inspired than you came. Let’s connect!

Year 5

Year 5

We are not who we use to be.

The cool thing about knowing someone for a long time, you hopefully get to see them change, grow and become the person they were created to be.

The cool thing about knowing Germ for so long, is that I get to witness him become the man God created Him to be.

He is not the same person I met 10 years ago, and he not the same person I married 5 years ago. Same as I.

I’ve seen him have trouble keeping a part time job, to becoming one of the hardest working guys I know.

I’ve seen him question God’s voice to become a man who is secure. He knows what God has in store for him, he knows his identity in Christ—no one can convince him otherwise.

I’ve seen him be an inpatient boyfriend, to become an understanding husband.

And favored me, I get to see him now, as a loving father, obsessed with his daughter.

My turn. ( I consulted with Germ, haha.)

I don’t worry about certain things like I use to. I am more secure in my God given gifts. I am becoming more bold. I have confidence in my husband. And now, I have peace in being a mother.

What I love about doing life with God is that there will always be something to look forward to.

We still have so much of the world to see.

We still have untapped gifts that has not reached its potential.

We have God given dreams that are yet to fully happen.

We want more kids.

I’m sure eventually, we’ll want grandkids.

And then, there is heaven.

As years go by, I look forward to seeing Jeremy become more of Him through life circumstances. And as I do, I continue to admire and celebrate the things that made me love him in the first place; his genuine soul, his dorky sense of humor, his love for the arts, and his pure heart towards ppl and God.

Marriage may not be appealing to some, because they can’t imagine being with the same person for the rest of their lives. And I agree with them. Good thing, it’s the not the case for us.
