Moroccan Magic

Moroccan Magic

I have always been a lip balm kind of girl. I’m all about natural beauty, so I was super stoked when Moroccan Magic, a Boston-based organic brand contacted me. I have to admit, like with any other business that reaches out, I am typically skeptical until I try the product or do some research.

I was given their entire collection. It consisted of 5 different scented lip balms; Peppermint Eucalyptus, Rose Lip Balm, Lemon Thyme, Coconut Almond, and Lavender Vanilla. I chose to try the Rose Lip balm first, because it is a crowd favorite. When I opened the cap, I was initially attracted by the scent, it wasn't overwhelming and it smelled pretty. (Rose scent has a way of doing that.)

I was expecting to apply an obnoxious amount to my lips, but it honestly took about two swipes and I was good to go. It went on smoothly and it kept my lips moist. I reapplied a few times throughout the day, mostly after meals.

A month later I am still using this product religiously, not because I have to (that’s part of the reason) but mostly because it works!

So how does it work? Great question! These organic lip balms are infused with 100% pure argan oil and essential oils. These ingredients keep lips ultra-hydrated and lock in moisture for hours!

I am proud to be a Moroccan Magic Ambassador. I LOVE that they are based in Boston (my home) and, that they are the only female & minority owned, cruelty free and USDA organic small brand on shelves. They are competing with and outselling some of the billion dollar brands like Clorox owned Burt’s Bees and Chapstick!

Just to prove that I am not biased, I gave people that I trust the lip balm to use to see what they thought.

“I love that everything in the ingredients listed was organic. The moisture stays in for at least four hours! That’s longer than anything I’ve had before. The scent is lovely (Lemon Thyme). And the application coat as I apply it on is the perfect amount. I do not have to keep on gliding it back and forth to cover everything. Just one glide for top and bottom and it’s enough. The cons: I wish it was tinted with a berry color or something. That way, I don’t actually have to use another lip cover to give my lips some color. But over all, I would say A- .... something I would def buy!” - my cousin

“I’m loving my Coconut Almond Moroccan Magic. It’s so smooth, I only need to apply a little bit and it goes a long way. I can’t wait to try Peppermint Eucalyptus next!” - my neighbor

Moroccan Magic is affordable and easily accessible. It can be found at your local Bed Bath and Beyond, CVS, Walgreens, and Wegmens stores nationwide. And of course, you can buy them in packs on their website at https://www.moroccanmagicbeauty.com/.
